Can't seem to turn on Aero effect on Longhorn Server... Crying [:'(]

Tried starting Theme services but the Aero theme does not appear in Theme list.

Quite ugly to use Longhorn in plain Windows Classic theme. Stick out tongue [:P]

I was also struggling to get Aero Glass to work on my Vista. Apparently, it doesn't auto-detect the card like it used to in 5365. But alas!!! I got it working *Muahaha*

Mine is not graphic card issue.  Server version does not, by default, uses fanciful user interface.  It just use Windows Classic theme for better performance.

But after installing "Desktop Experience" from add features (Control Panel --> Programs), and starting Theme service, I can use my Aero glass on Longhorn Server Beta 2. Yeah!!!

I now can have the best of both for my development machine, Server features + Client UI.

Has the hardware requirements, as well as the driver base, for transparency effects been downplayed to support older video card models now? The last time i tried (beta 1), there was no way it could ever recognise my GeForce3 as a capable card. (not even Sound Blaster Live! could be recognised!)
