I have just found a very cool application under firedancer's website, named Stickies.net. Its a very cool application which allows users to add stickies to anywhere on their screen. The website to download it is http://serena-yeoh.malaysiandevelopers.net/

Following is a printscreen sample from the site.

My pleasure. Big Smile [:D]    It's really a very cool software which I had been looking for, for years. IT professionals would really love this cool app. One suggestion is maybe you could add an auto-installer to it, something like an install shield installer, so that professionals whom are not IT savy could also make use of this wonderful software...

Hmm, I just place a shortcut on my desktop. That will work too isn't it...Haha.

Anyway I like to use stickies.net as I tends to forget wat I need to do.  I use to add task to outlook so that they appeared on my desktop, but to add task everytime is very troublesome. Another program I used before was Sticky notes for tablet pc, but its quite stupid as for each task, its actually on a new page. So I need to manually scroll through each page to view my task. It will appeal to user to wants a 'neat' desktop desktop, but I want all the stickies to be on the screen so at one glance I can view all. I will be great if Stickies .net can support ink for tablet pc. So, quite excited since next UG meeting Maung Maung is going to present on Tablet pc development..hahaBig Smile [:D]
Yes, another version, another round of headaches. But that's progress.

Maybe you guys would want to revive the Stickies.NET project under SGDOTNET. You guys can build it on VS 2005. I can share all the concepts and feed in the requirements that I've came across for it throughout the years.

I don't think I will have the time to enhance it since I'm more focused on Paladin now. The source code for it is also too messy and some codes were from MSDN samples Stick out tongue [:P]

If you guys are interested, we can talk to Trippie and see. Geeked [8-|]

The existing code won't be able to be extended. You will need to write it from scratch. The installer is already there - no need to write. Smile [:)]

2 things we can most probably add in is ink support and also voice recording, and also functions like auto-start up and maybe integration with outlook. But first of all need to get the basic application up first, since will require to write from it scratch. I will research on ink support for this weekGeeked [8-|]

Yup! The basic is to write a very simple and efficient version of the stickies in VS 2005. Able to popup little yellow windows and let users type something. Smile [:)]

I don't know Win API, if you guys know it, u can do wonders with it. Yes [Y]

You can approach blackinkbottle too, he demo ink technology before in one of the ug meetings.

I dun think voice is welcome, since it should be light weight. As for outlook, i'll wait for microsoft to tell you...
