I am making this gentle reminder to all who posts and here that this is a Usergroup and not a Technical Helpdesk or Product Sales and Support and it will NOT evolve to become one.

This is a place where UG members come in to talk about future technology, non-technology or laugh at someone's else expense...BUT NOT a place where members can come in and expect some other member to do their job for them.

For example, members may post questions to ask for some common guidance and pitfalls to watch out for such as here or specific semantic or synatical questions such as here. However, it would be unacceptable to expect someone to do your job for you.

Basic effort must be put in to do some more research before posting them here...and from what is observed here, most of the questions can be answered with the help of Dr. Google and in the top 3 pages as well.

Please read this very important post and take note of Points 4, 8, 10. Attend MSDN, SgDotNet UG sessions and meetings if you can. That would be the time to ask those technical questions.

I dont think this usergroup forum and its moderators are able to handhold anyone in their project. Basic understanding must be acquired or else critical mistakes will surface later.

Posts are like these are getting more commonplace here. This is a good time to remind everyone that this is a UG, not a technical helpdesk or product sales and support. Members help each other out by providing guidance at the cost of goodwill. Too much goodwill can be harmful if it becomes a childcare center. People forget to read and learn on their own which is what most of the moderators and leaders here do on their own at their own sacrifice.
