    MS Fingerprint Reader SDK?

    Hi Guys,

I would like to know anyone of you all use the MS Fingerprint reader? If have is there any SDK for us (developer) to control or read data from the device?

              Please advise. Thank you.

    Regards,

    i'm using this one.

    http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouseandkeyboard/features/fingerprint.mspx

As far as I know, the SDK (or programmability) is not shipped with the hardware itself. You need to license from the digitalpersona, the company that made the hardware.

I'm also very interested to do some interop on the fingerprint reader. Keep me posted if you find anything. Thanks

I had came over some articles in the web saying that MS had "wrap" the API of the device therefore you can't use the SDK that come with digitalpersona. Any idea?

guess the price you find on amazon is cheaper than the normal price. the standalone device is about 99SGD. mine is integrated with the keyboard, priced at 149SGD with a mouse as well.
