great find? I casually stumble across such vile stuff on a daily basis.

Honestly i do not know what goes through the minds of such programmers - how do they even read and understand the code? Day in day out I stuggle so badly simply to figure out what the code is attempting to do, not exactly sure if it even works correctly.

i mean "great find" because there are some who don't believe in the concept of technical debt. they think that as long as the software's running fine it's OK, it doesn't matter if it's poorly written or designed. seeing that example of a 28-page method should drive the point home...other than seeing for yourself such badly written code on a daily basis.
