Hi Guys,

I would like to suggest a WinFX Section that contains 3 sub-sections for discussions on Windows Presentation Foundation, Windows Communication Foundation and Windows Workflow Foundation.

Thank You.

I've discussed about this w/council members and decided that for now, we will not have additional forum or section for WinFX. I think much has been discussed about our current lack of active online interaction, which brings us to the conclusion.

Nevertheless, we'll keep this in mind and revive this request if more and more members requests for it. Any others who want the forum is welcome to post here.

I don't think we need it anymore since the request was made eons ago. WinFX is already .NET 3.0 now.

Also, like Softwaremaker said there are plenty of international forums out there who are doing a better job. For .NET 3.0 resources, we can go to http://www.netfx3.com/ - the official .NET 3.0 forums.

So, I don't think we need to duplicate the effort anymore.

Thanks

Originally wanted to write a new post and found this. There are more and more people here who are into WPF, WCF and WF as well as Silverlight. Although I admit that there are a large number of (international) websites that are doing much better than this, but SgDotNet is still formed despite other .NET and Microsoft forums that are available.

Looking at the home page of SgDotNet, we are still very much a Singapore based user group to discuss IT related topics. Creating sub sections is just for us members to write posts that can be categorised relative to the sub sections. Is there much effort to create and maintain a few more sub sections?

There are a number of developers out there who have yet to locate well known website and forums, as well as effectively use Google to solve their issues, but some of them know of SgDotNet, and may want to post questions but unable to find an appropriate section to do so.

Eh, just my 2 cents!

Bronk, your wish is fulfilled. Same goes to Firedancer, albeit years later. The forums are created respectively:
