Ok, Alpha Centauri, the nearest brightest star from earth.

Or should we just call it Centauri

Any objections?

Shunjie, I think you can go ahead... Code name is just a code name... This system is part of the website anyway.

Design the database structure nicely and then run the BEWizard on it. You can immediately hook it up to the UI. However, do take architectural considerations whether you have any business logic - if you do, create a Custom Business Component and don't use the default one.

Software development made easy with Paladin RAD Framework. Save some trees, use Stickies.NET

Venue confirmed. Microsoft Level 22, CF02. Let's start at 6:30pm.

Agenda would be to discuss what we want to accomplish in this system, the feature list. If time permits, we will go into the design itself

Venue - Add URL field

Speakers - Add Blog field

OK

Add Agenda table between Events and Topics - Primary reason, we sometimes slot some stuff like quick talks etc but those are not topics. (e.g. breaks).
Agenda - AgendaID, EventID (FK1), StartTime, EndTime, TopicID (FK2)

HIHs.

I will change Topics to Events Details, and allow SpeakerID (FK) to be null. if the SpeakerID is null. This way, its easier to bind to any repeating controls...

Any comments?

Darren and WuXia,

I have decided to undertake the project myself. Reason being, this is not a very big project, but to break it down will take a much longer time completing it, because of the coordination, and I won't be able to fully harness the RAD nature of paladin.

Thanks for availing yourselves to help out. Really appreciate it.

WuXia, if you are interested, help out with stickes.net, together with Darren. There are some plans going on...
