Start small first. We will slowly slot in the features using "Versioned Release" concept. If the foundation is not up, no point talking about boOMbaSTiQue stuff.

Make sure, there is a tray icon, can create new stickies, then save and load them. After that, more features can come.

Btw, where should we host the codes? SGDN or SourceForge? Either one, I also don't know how to use Embarrassed [:$]

ink technology meaning something like in MSN 7.0's drawing feature?

Yup, able to draw directly on the canvas itself using mouse/stylus. Like onenote. Big Smile [:D]
Yes, another version, another round of headaches. But that's progress.

The young guns should answer this. I won't be contributing much apart from giving specifications, directing and testing it. I'm too packed with Paladin and exams. *Besides... I'm gettin too old for this....* Embarrassed [:$]

Hmm, I am very keen in doing this, its an interesting application to work on, not too complicated, useful in our day-to-day life, and can serve as a good way of learning some of the new capabilities of the new 2.0 frameworkBig Smile [:D]

    Re: Stickies.net

I prefer we keep it to sgdn repository first... let our own members learn and grow... Anyway, I'm open to discussion.

If you guys wants to start this, someone has to take leadership in this, catch the vision from firedancer, and lead the project team. Don't worry about not having the experience to lead. As long as you are willing to learn and experiment, just do it man. For the event management system, its my first project that i'm going to lead as well. Nova don't really count, since i'm working with microlau, who is my friend since secondary school.

Darren, you need to think about your committment first... I'm a bit worried you might be taking up too many projects. If you are comfortable with the committment, go ahead :)

I am willing to lead the project with Darren. We can kick start the project together. For the official date, I think since we got the idea right now, we should start our planning right now. Big Smile [:D]

Repository wise sgdotnet will be great Smile [:)]

Yeah.. maybe we could draft out the blue print for the project and define its architecture first, afterwhich we could start coding.. how about we meet up on this some time at the end/middle of june? i would not be able to commit much time into development in the first two months or so, but after which, i should be able to dwell most of my time into it after i have cleared most of the interface for the new site and dnn... Wink [;)]
