A COMPLETE solution is there. We've got something! I'm going to try it out later.

Guys, prepare for the new sgdotnet wave, not longhorn wave. *chuckles*

That solution needed CS DB and DNN DB to be the same.

Here's another solution that I'll try out which allows seperate dbs

Cross our fingers and hope it works.

For those who follow the second thread

At step 8, you might get rebuild error for DNN project. To allow it rebuild correctly and  reference to UserServiceWse, you will need to open up Community Server sln and rebuild it. Then the policy.config will refresh and then update DNN web reference to CommunityServer web service. I spend a hour trying to debug the error, so post here just in case some others got the same error Big Smile [:D]

Done. Its working. Take me around 2 hours on the first try, but I least its working. I think  will only take around 30 mins but I keep getting rebuild errorsIndifferent [:|]
I have tested on registering a user in DNN and then go into CS forum, works fine.

Okay, I've tried the stuff @ the 2nd thread.

In simple terms, the gist of what he's trying to do is to provide a webservice to communityserver to update it's own user-base when dotnetnuke adds/deletes/updates a user. So when dotnetnuke calls any of those, additional code is added to call the webservice @ communityserver to update it's own users.

There's still a problem of the cookies not reading correctly, but I'll fix it soon. :) Prepare for a great day today.

Sounds like what I did with CSK and CS::Forums 2.0, only that I directly called the stored procedures of the Forums database instead of via Web service.
