Hi Nova-ians,

Attached is a draft Nova roadmap. The file is in MDI format.

"Nova is smart client application which allows members of a community, based on Telligent System's Community Server :: Forums application, to interact with the forums without using their web browser. The goal is to integrate Nova seamlessly with Community Server :: Forums in order to bring the community experience to the desktop level."

The melody of logic will always play out the truth. ~ Narumi Ayumu, Spiral

A brief writeup of Nova.

Currently, the status of Nova is
-Detect support of Nova (Complete)
-Authenticate User (Complete)
-Retrieve List of User (Complete)
-Retrieve Roles of Member (Blue Screen)
-Posting to Techmilk (Pending)
-Moderation (Pending)
-Configuration (Complete)
-Plugin (Pending)

Blue Screen is caused by HTTPContext problems, which Novaians should be aware of by now. Even though Icelava might have made some progress with his webservice research, I do suggest that we migrate to Community Server instead and study the feasibility, since TelligentSystem do have plans for webservice in that product roadmap.

So, tuesday (11/1/05) coding session, I suggest the group be divided into two. One to do a bit of poking and reflecting of community server to try and foresee any problems that might hinder the work.
Another group to migrate and test the webservices already done to the community server.

Any feedback?

Please confirm your attendance by Monday (10/1/05) 12:00pm. I would call you guys up tomorrow afternoon if you havent RSVP ;p

- Kit Kai (Yes)
- Triplez (Yes will be late though because of prior meeting)
- Icelava (Yes)
- Microlau
- xtreme

As icelava has already put it, do not feel obligated to attend if you can't make it.

Best Regards, Kit Kai, MVP (SharePoint Portal Server)

One more thing.
Lets meet at 7:30 pm, and aim to finish by 10:30 pm (too late or too early?)
