Candid folks on the street, all the more need 70-200mm lens to capture from a distance. People generally dislike being photographed by strangers or become artificial when knowing a lens is pointed their way, so have to be positioned away where they are unaware and at their most natural. I dont have such a lens.

Or, you have models to capture? :-)

Sorry i am only equipped with EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS and EF 50mm f/1.8 Mk II. Close distance 25cm to 2 or 3m is my effective range for significant subjects.

Think that's why i prefer to capture still objects presently, won't shy aware from camera, stay still, don't need to bark posing instructions, etc :-D

Well, we can take still objects outside - Like buildings, flowers, trees, grass, etc etc... It doesn't equate to shooting human :)

Can but i prefer to restrict the theme or subject range, so as to condense the learning curve.

How about... Botanic gardens flora?
