Is it possible for me to prepare myself for the exam instead of go for course / lesson?

Is it a requirement to attend the  course / lesson?

Thanks.

by all means go ahead and study by yourself, I'm sure there are a lot of us here who have done the same and passed Wink

There is no singular course that covers everything an exam is testing.

Follow the MCPD information pages to view the list of related courses as well as the covered areas of study.

In the Microsoft .NET world,  MSDN is your BEST friend; that is if you have real world experience. If you don't have practical experience, you'll be better off reading those books which prepares you for such certification exams.

Any SgDotNet's member passed the exam by self study?

Any advise?

I'm pretty sure there are plenty. I completed my MCSD by self-study, back in 2006.

So what kind of references you refer to?

Is it from the Microsoft Press books Self-Paced Training Kit?

Borrow the Self Paced Training Kit books from National Library to really learn something from it.

Else, there are plenty of exam simulators out there.

Can give some examples?

Found that you ask similar question in http://203.81.62.81/forums/p/11306/167139.aspx#167139. Wondering whether you got example?

Exam simulators that I know of costs money. I think there might be some books that come with them, if so, perhaps you can try your luck with the National Library.
