    POP 3 User ID problem

    Hi all,

Can I ask a simple question?

Can a userID for POP3 account contain space, like "JW Marriott" ? I tried using outlook, it seems that space is giving me a problem. I've typed in the absolutely correct password, but it still said password in-correct.

    Thanks.

based on RFC 1939, it does not seem to specifically ban the use of space characters in the username portion. i guess it would depend on the particular POP3 server if it will allow spaces or not. better ask this question to the company providing you email service.

    I'm using MS Exchange.

The problem solved after I remove the space from the login name.
