Hi All,
I got some question regarding the MCAD.NET certification.
I got my MCAD.NET certification in Feb 2005.
1.) Is there any expiration date for the certification?
2.)If yes for Q1, what do I need to do to be re-certify?
3.) Heard that Microsoft introduced some new certification programs (MCTS), how would it impact my current MCAD.NET certification
4.) My company would like to join the ISV partner program of Microsoft, may I know where I can get more information about the requirement/qualification and other related info?
Thanks.
smalldream: Hi All,I got some question regarding the MCAD.NET certification. I got my MCAD.NET certification in Feb 2005.1.) Is there any expiration date for the certification? No, but MCAD is for .NET framework 1.1. For 2.0 or onward, we may need to take some updating course2.)If yes for Q1, what do I need to do to be re-certify? Even the answer is NO, you still can upgrade your MCAD to MCPD: Web developer or MCPD: Windows Developer. Or you can complete the MCSD and taking 2 upgrade exam to become MCPD : Enterprise Application Developer. Please visit: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/mcp/mcpd/entapp/default.mspx3.) Heard that Microsoft introduced some new certification programs (MCTS), how would it impact my current MCAD.NET certification. They are difference certification based on .net framework 2.0 or 2005 solution (like SQL 2005). Since you have MCAD, it is better you upgrade to MCPD directly.4.) My company would like to join the ISV partner program of Microsoft, may I know where I can get more information about the requirement/qualification and other related info? ISV is one of the partner program for Software vendor. You get it more information from Microsoft partner website http://www.microsoft.com/partner or email them which a Partner program consultant will guide you through the application process.Thanks.
