Passionate Games Developer

Hi, I have been developing games since I was in Poly. When I graduated I want to find a job making games, I cannot find such job. I cannot be accepted to such jobs.

Making games has been my hobby but now since I can make it seriously I will like to start. Making games now has been more demanding requiring an individual to master many fields and expertise. Even that someone is able to do all that he cannot possibly finish everything on his own. Therefore I am looking for interested individual who is willing to work with me as a passion. Yes work but no pay.

yep. agree with IceLava. If you could give a rough idea on what's genre is your game idea and play heading towards, it might drive more interest?

Since you had been developing games, why not show us your portfolios online (screenshots)? Maybe I can speak to a few people to help you. It depends on how good you are :)

I hope I can recruit some people by stating my idea. I hope my ideas won't be copied though. ( How naive of me to hope....)

I am thinking of making  an online/ mobile 2D game some thing like pokemon meets maple story.

Imagine...

You need your mobile phone  to capture monsters. Different monsters will be captured from different places. Example you will catch a different monster in Tampines, Yishun, JB , KL, Chicago, Sydney, Jakarta and ETC....(you get the idea rite?) . This is good when you are travelling. Or this will encourage travelling. (hehe the only online game that will make you go out of the house to play. Other than forcing you to buy top up cards or transfer money) Then you can go online to pit your captured monsters against others. It is like a collection and RPG game.

Sounds grand but it is actually a very simple game but needs a lot of work.  

I can make the game itself however I need help on graphics and getting it online part.

I am a passionate worker, I only work well if I am happy. I hope I can get people who will want to cooperate with me.

aha. This is the most telling detail on what type of developer you wish to attract. Quite likely you don't need a PC game developer.

I have a friend developing mobile phone games, but he most conversant in Java. There is some intention for him to learn XNA but Java remains his main affinity. I will ask him if he would like to learn the C language for games as well.

 I am a game developer although my main area is Java mobile games although I do developer PC games using C++. Your idea sounds great, but can be technically challenging due to the networking aspect and the LBS(Location Base Service) that your mobile phone must have. It would be better to scale down your requirements.

Guys no worry I know all the technical stuff I just need ppl to help. If you can do simple programming it is already a great plus. I need at least 2 PC programmer/ 1 mobile programmer, 2 graphic artist and 1 webprogrammer.
