.net String vs. StringBuilder - concatenation performance
.net String vs. StringBuilder - concatenation performance
Here's EXACTLY what I'm going to discuss and present to you guys during my presentation next week. But instead of words, it's going to be a show-and-tell session to show you actually the performance with your own eyes. For those who can't come, just read that article and you won't miss out on the details. I'm still preparing the demos and presentation slides, and hopefully they'll be out next week for downloading before my presentation so that all of you will be able to download and maybe try out the demos before I present them.
Like I said, as we get nearer to the presentation, you're going to get more resources on my blog. So far I've only posted resources covering Strings and Destructor, and there will be 2 more items I'll be covering which are "for" and "foreach" (and an additional IEnumerable if I can squeeze it in) and the "as" and direct type castng (and a few code questions on boxing and unboxing). I'll be posting more resources on those 2 items as they come in within the week.
I'm excited with this presentation, and I really do hope I have enough time to squeeze in whatever I want to share with you. It's going to be cool. *wink*
