I am working on small bits of it here and there. Hope to churn out a new stable version real soon.

I guess for the dragging, I will let the users decide and have an option to let them choose as I think many like you, prefered a more straight forward dragging.

;)

Congratulations and keep it up, I can't wait to see the final result. It'd be a great example on how Flash platform can work well as a tool.

If I can suggest only one feature, though, I'd like to suggest the ability to drag the icons/folders with rigid body physics. As it is now, moving the icons is not very intuitive because of the lack of immediate feedback from the computer to the user when a drag is started. Using rigid body dragging would solve this by working as an immediate dragging, and also still keeping the concept of movable "physical" interface elements you seem to be following.

An old (as1) example of rigid body dragging (to better explain what I mean) can be found here:

http://hosted.zeh.com.br/misc/novo2.swf

There's probably some better code covering this feature somewhere by now.

re: Congrats to my friends for winning Flash Awards!

Great job.
