3dsense has come out with a very nice Christmas Animation. All the lecturers played a part in this exciting animating that we done up in 1 day. Its great to see one of them using 3dsmax to model, another animate, then next one using combustion to spice things up, and another using Premiere to add the sound effect. Me? I play a small part by creating a small Flash animation (the small small reindeer in the back).

In January 2007, 3dsense Media School will be launching Pixel Reloaded I, a full day Flash workshop in Singapore that focuses on the Flash Platform. Pixel Reloaded is a series of workshop that the School initiate to push the web and design scenes of the region. The topics will range from Web Design, best practices, RIA, Flash Platform, Web 2.0, AJAX, Graphics Design and Motion Graphics.
In Pixel Reloaded I, the focus will be on Flash Platform, in which Aral Balkan from Ariaware will be the key speaker in the event speaking on the Flash Platform.The venue of it will be at Singapore National Library, Level 5 Possibility Room, from 10am to 5pm. Registration is now open.

I was at Sitex 2006 today for the 3rd day promoting our web courses. In the previous 2 days, I have been presenting on Flash Lite 2.1 at the Digital Workshop. For those who have attended the workshop, I will upload my examples on Monday right after Sitex ends.
There is 1 funny incident that happens at the event when I was explaining the web courses to one of the visitors. I mentioned that the we teach Adobe Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Flash as part of the curriculum. He then replied me - "No AJAX?", and walk away. That left me thinking - "Is he thinking that I am a dumb guy standing there and he is trying to impress me with some jargon?". Perhaps I should play dumb, and reply him "yeah, thats a must if you are washing your clothes!". Well, of course, there are also a lot of great guys there I happened to meet at the show and we end up having some nice chat on Actionscript.
Anyway, I will there for the 4th day too. If you happen to be there, come and say hi to me.
