My Wallop Page

Finally my invitation is here. This is my Wallop page:

I will say Wallop is cool but scalability wise I am not too sure. Even if it has a lot of Eye Candy, I think the main killer might be SEO. We will need to see how the community grows to make this a better web 2.0 site.
What I am impress is that when I feed it with my blog RSS feeds, it can actually filter out all the images and add them to my gallery. There are pros and cons to this but having something like that is pretty impressive (to a geek).

Lets us see how this will evolve.

nice! if you have any additional invites please send one my way! I share your enthusiasm for "getting .NET and Flex to talk to each other". I use ASP.NET and IIS on the server-side and Flex on the browser-side. So far so good. Check out my post on using Ajax as glue code to communicate between the two frameworks. ok, aq

I dont think SEO will be that big of a deal - its a networking site, not an informational site. Im pretty sure SEO has barely contributed to myspace's growth. All you need is a following of users that are excited - word of mouth is huge.

Looks like a similar concept/UI to Adobe's jamjar, but with nicer design. If this becomes big then it will be another win for Flash. Yay Flash!

Hey, I really like your site. I'm a flash developer/graphic designer and I was wondering if you have some suggestions on how to go about gettin and invite from Wallop. I haven't had any luck through them. If you had an extra invite for me, or any information on how to get one, I would really appreciate it. Thanks! -Jordan (jordan.tack@gmail.com)
