LOVE 2007 - Thank you

For those who've attended LOVE 2007 Community Launch, I hope that you've gained some valuable knowledge from the single day event and I'm sure many (close to all who've stayed behind) of the participants walked away happier due to the prizes given out during the lucky draw. For the record, we gave away dozens of books for IT Pros & Developers, Disk Keeper license software, Vista, Office 2007 Professional, Win2K3r2 licenses (25 CAL) and many Launch Kit consisting of VS 2005 Professional, BizTalk 2006 and Sql Server 2005!

The event was well attended by 130 participants, of which 80+ are IT Pros and 40+ are Developers. On the speaker front, we have 10 speakers - 3 from Microsoft while 6 others are Singapore MVPs. We're pleased that the President of MIND, MVP Wen Ching, made the trip down from KL in other to attend this event.

I truly apologise to those who came at 0800 hrs sharp, thinking that the event will start at 0800, only to discover that the keynote starts at 0900 hrs. We'll sort out that confusion in future events. If you've any feedback or questions, feel free to drop me an email.

I'll take this opportunity to thank all the following key personnels who've made this event a great one for everyone:

Dennis Chung - For working together with SGDN on this key event (FYI, he's the president of SWUG)

Yasmeen and Chewy - For the countless gifts and trial software and help rendered

Speakers (Edwin, Kit Kai, Maung Maung, Alan Andrew, Maria, Wee Hyong, and Shaji) - Thank you for taking time off to prepare and speak to the crowd. Every speaker was fantastic and I took shots of every speaker

ATE (Nuqman, Tian Ann and Justin) - Thanks for taking time to come and supporting the event. Apologies that the participants didn't really get much interaction with you folks.

Helpers (Debbie, Tian Ann, Ai Chung and Alan) - Thanks for helping out to make this event smooth and running.

Keynote speakers (Dilip and Matthew) - Honor to have you guys coming down to support our event

Lilian - For being the spirit and force behind the event. Without, LOVE2007 would have been logistically "challenging"

Here's some todo's to LOVE 2007 and I'll get them sorted out asap.
