Calling for speakers (and topics) for SGDN Mar #22 UG Meeting

From the list of topics 'polled' in January, I will like to appeal for any budding speakers out there who wants to talk about any of the topics indicated here, or feels that there may be some other topics (not listed here) which should be presented, do not hesitate to post here or drop me an email @ microlau_at_sgdotnet_org.

  1. SharePoint WebPart development and ASP.NET 2.0 WebPart infrastructure  (March 06 onwards)
  2. Enterprise Library and the common patterns and best practices
  3. XML Paper Specifications (i.e. XPS)
  4. Unit testing on NUnit
  5. Object Persistent Framework
  6. User Interface Process Application Block
  7. Developing add-ons for Office applications ? Like Outlook plugins.

Ajax: Session Warning to Developers

Eric Pascarello shares some of his experiences in handling user's session while developing an Ajax application. With his experience, he's managed to identify two problems which most of us will face:

  1. Problem 1: Unwanted Extended Sessions
  2. Problem 2: Session Timeout
