Team Foundation Server (Part 2) Focus on Team Foundation Build and Work Item Tracking by Lim Boon Tiong (MVP)
It's amazing how Visual Studio transformed itself from an award winning developer tool to a first class development platform. This session focus on the Team Foundation Server (TFS) part of Visual Studio 2005 Team System - specifically Team Foundation Build and Work Item Tracking. Team Foundation Build utilizes MSBuild, the new extensible build engine that ships with the .NET Framework 2.0 and it supports the concept of a build server. On the other note, working item tracking provides a good deal of communication between the project manager and the rest of the team, including developers, business analysts, and testers. You should expect 75% of the session duration on demos and the rest on the slides.

Date/Time:
9th February 2006, 6:45pm to 8:45pm

How to get there:

For attendees who drive:
We recommend to park at the Neptune Theatre car park

For attendees traveling by MRT:
It is a 5 minute's walk from Raffles MRT Interchange, passing by the Asia Building.

For attendees traveling by bus:

Doing my 70-300 _finally_

It seems like just yesterday that I did my last certification paper...but with the sudden rush of certifications for .NET 2.0 coming out, I've decided to swim my final lap, that is to take 70-300 in order to complete the first cycle....MCSD.

Feb 18 will be the date of examination.

VS 2005 Sitemap Macro

Thanks to Bernard who've pointed out this cool macro from Scott Allen - It builds a web.sitemap (ASP.NET 2.0 feature) based on the files on the physical disk and saves you some painful data entry.

My Shiny Cards are here

Following up to my previous post, I've received my metal shiny cards, 'passport' to 3 x  MSDN Premium Subscription with Visual Studio 2005 Team Suite. Awesome.

Just one comment - Shiny cards are really nice, but rather wasteful.

Waiting for my MVP Invites

It seems that developer MVPs have the 'joy' of giving out MSDN Premium Subscription with Visual Studio 2005 Team Suite to three 'worthy' friends, family, or community. I've still waiting for mine but the metal cards sure looks like a collectible..Thanks to James Shaw for his image..;)

I wonder who to give mine away ...

Oh yes, I just learn that Icelava got his..So mine should be OTW..;)
