+1 to Blade PC

Extracted from CNET, http://news.com.com/NORAD+gives+thumbs+up+to+blade+PCs/2100-1003_3-5672824.html?part=rss&tag=5672824&subj=news:

"Blade PCs differ from standard PCs in that they sit in a rack in a central computer room. Users tap into them through a keyboard and a communications port on their desk. Unlike thin clients, each blade has its own hard drive and processor. Although blade PCs aren't nearly as popular as blade servers, a number of Wall Street firms have adopted them for some operations".

Seems like Blade PC's are getting some thumbups from the industry. Some links on Blade PC:

http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/pscmisc/vac/us/en/sm/desktops/blade/bc1000_overview.html

Sounds good for developers and administrators if everyone runs on Blade PC isn't it? Ease of maintenance, ease of OS upgrades, ease of application deployment...
