Polling: Do you use incoming email feature to file documents into your document library?

Kindly leave some comments. I'm just trying to gauge the interest in this area.

Also, if you are using incoming email, and you have extra columns in your document library, how are you populating those... Thanks!

We did set up an email scenario for one of our clients. They would email documents that were scanned directly to a document library. We didn't do much more than a POC so we didn't get into issues about the meta data. HTH, --Paul Galvin

We have a large imaging repository project that is leveraging MOSS as the storage repository. We will be using the incoming email feature for Doc Libs to insert the images into MOSS.

Don't really use it. It is setup but I think either the users are not aware of its availablity or are just used to the old-fashioned way. Users are used to emailing docs to their team so you would think that emailing the library would be natural. I think communication of the feature and getting a few people to at least CC the library when sending a doc might increase adoption. But, development is my only area. ;-)
