I got a fren who work in XXX company. The company don't trust the developers.
Recently they merge with the project management office. These people from PMO are freeloaders. They assign their jobs to the developers like drawing of gantt charts, give not clear functional specifications to them, take their rations (like milo packets from the pantry), make them work late without catered dinner and even ask them to make test plans. They make testing accounts with real money with tens of thousands of dollars which make the company lose money. They themselves knock off early than the developers. If there is credit, the PMOs will get it rather than the developers.
The developers without proper access finally got access. They knew that the company has cheated its customers through a evil scheme....and they are greedy for money
However the developers are being blamed for not delivering the good job cos every deployment is too rushed. The code gets copied over to create a new website. So the faults will persist. Now the boss want to cut their bonuses.
If you got a fren like this, what will u advise him to do?
