Second Life's Civilization

Taking "Second Life", it is interesting to see how this "civilization" could grow, or be artificially elevated and even capitalized...as in the primary life of capitalism reality. It's economy after all. It should be definitely easier to invent or duplicate the counterparts of real life systems or ecosystems into it; it would become something else, once the flow is reversed at a certain point of time, if there is.
Just taking "financial service" as an example, a short search reveals such :
Interviews President of Meta Bank in SL
(on business model, reserve, interest rate, loan, repayment, employment, asset etc)
or ABN AMRO's outlet
or even money laundering?
